Better Beerfood is an online television show by Online Cooking LLC that showcases great cooking recipes that go well with beer.

The problem.

Online Cooking LLC, the company behind Better Beerfood, gains most of their revenue from their newsletter. However, the number of subscriptions was no longer increasing, which meant that their revenue could not grow. They needed help to promote their newsletter and attract more subscribers.

The solution.

Florofilm, which is a part of TEMPUS Group, helped Better Beerfood create video podcasts and a website that focuses on recipes that complement beer. The podcast we distributed though multiple channels and generated subscribers to the newsletter, and the website itself also has subscribers through an online beerfood community.

Activities completed.

  • Show Concept
  • Script Writing
  • Video Production
  • Video Distribution
  • Video SEO

Duration: ongoing

The result.

Better Beerfood has been granted beer sponsorships as a part of their income, and their main goal has been achieved. The video podcasts receive over 50,000 unique views per episode, and Better Beerfood also now has thousands of new signups for their newsletter.

FusionPoint by TNS is rapidly becoming the number one product in the casual dining and general retail market segments.

The problem.

TNS’s traditional market—the gas stations—were under extreme market pressure. To reduce business risk and grow revenues, TNS needed to expand their market footprint to other segments that were a good fit for TNS products.

The solution.

TEMPUS Group identified two new target markets, general retail and casual dining, to sell TNS’s new product FusionPoint. To emphasize the differences between TNS and its competitors, we reviewed the product’s capabilities in detail and positioned TNS on the market with a focus on their unique advantages. We also helped them create sales and marketing plans, collateral and white papers that we strategically placed to generate leads.

Activities completed.

  • Target Marketing
  • Strategic Messaging
  • Channel Models
  • Collateral Building
  • Sales and Marketing Plans

Duration: 3 months

The result.

FusionPoint is rapidly becoming a leading solution in markets that TNS targets. The launch was very successful, and the team is now growing their sales and marketing staff to drive market share. TNS uses the collateral created by TEMPUS Group as their standard material for the U.S. market, in addition to other markets throughout the world.

ATA Makes Deliveries Safer and More Cost Effective

Through a federation of other trucking groups, industry-related conferences, and its 50 affiliated state trucking associations, the American Trucking Association is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry and represents more than 37,000 members covering every type of motor carrier in the United States.

The problem.

Jurisdictions across the nation were planning to introduce hazmat routing restrictions that would create an unreasonable burden for transportation of hazardous materials. In 2005 the D.C. counsel put a ban into place that prohibited hazmat transportation within 2.2 miles of the Capitol Building without a license. Along with the ban, they realised that an emerging number of new hazmat transport restrictions were appearing or about to take place.

The solution.

Through the ATA’s Office of Public Affairs, TEMPUS Group’s John Sipper assumed the role as “the voice of the trucking industry” and publicized the concern and positions of the industry. Through multiple media outlets, they told people that existing routing regulations adequately reflected security concerns and that multiple regulations would be detrimental to shippers and carriers.

Activities completed.

  • Media Purchases and Placement
  • Content Production and Content Placement
  • Writing and Issuing Press Releases
  • Editing Policy Papers
  • Testimony and Petitions
  • Preparing Speeches
  • Tracking the Results
  • Managing the association’s outreach among its membership, regulatory agencies, public and private sector stakeholders, the general public and state and national policy makers

Duration: 7 years

The result.

In 2006, the ATA’s pre-emption petition was granted, and it was determined that D.C. hazmat routing restriction consisted of an illegal routing destination that was enacted in violation of federal hazmat routing regulations. Following this success, the ATA continues to do the same work in other cites. They have also continued avocation for the issues of hazmat in media and its constituencies.
